I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, children, adolescents, families and groups within a private practice setting. With twenty years of clinical experience, I utilize Client-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychodynamic and Family Systems orientations to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to the unique needs of each client. I believe in creating a supportive, empowering environment with compassion and understanding to help clients on their respective journeys toward emotional healing, self-discovery and a sense of fulfillment in life.
As a graduate from Antioch University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, I help clients challenged with a variety of issues including relational difficulties, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, and life transitions. In addition to treating dually diagnosed adults in residential and outpatient settings, I have counseled children and teenagers challenged with emotional disturbance, ADHD and autistic spectrum disorders in the nonpublic school environment. My experience includes providing early childhood therapy for children ages 2-5 years (and their parents/guardians) struggling with separation anxiety, attachment issues, socialization problems and communication delays. I served my pre-licensure internships at The Maple Counseling Center, Julia Ann Singer Center/Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center - Thalians. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
